How to get there: it is 162 kilometers via Ruta Provincial 33 from the capital city of Salta, and there are amazing landscapes all along the way. From Cafayate, in the south of the province, it is 157 kilometers via Ruta Nacional 40 and you will come across dream-like locations on the way. The way to Cachi is part of the attraction.

Climate: dry. Warm in summer and cold in winter, with a wide temperature range.
