Geographic location: Province of Tierra del Fuego, Argentine Patagonia.

How to get there: the mountain is located 26 kilometers from the city of Ushuaia, the capital city of the province. Visitors can get there via Ruta Nacional 3. It is easy to access and all the road is fully paved. In winter, the most usual and safer way to arrive is by air; there are daily flights from Buenos Aires.

Area: the ski area is 650 hectares. Altitude: 1,057 meters above sea level.

Climate: Subpolar. The average temperature is 2°C. On windy days, windchill can be as low as -2ºC. The ski tracks can be used for several months, usually from June to October, as the climate in the region is very cold. 

Recommended length of stay: 2 to 5 days.

Recommended clothing: warm clothes. It is advisable to be prepared for extremely low temperatures.
