How to get there: Via the Provincial Route 52 and Route 40 from San Salvador de Jujuy, capital of the province (378 km north).
Altitude: 3,721 m above sea level.
Climate: High-mountain arid and dry climate.
Recommended length of stay: 1 to 3 days.
Recommended clothing and gear: Appropriate warm clothes for possible weather changes. Sunscreen lotion.
Suggestions: Drink a lot of water and eat lightly to be able to stand the altitude.
