How to get there: By plane, to Teniente Luis Candelaria International Airport in San Carlos de Bariloche. By bus, from different parts of the country, or by car via Ruta Nacional 5.

Altitude: 1,000 meters above sea level (average altitude)

Climate: Cold and dry, with snowfalls in winter.

Recommended length of stay: 2 to 4 days.

Recommended clothing and gear: Warm clothing, suitable for low temperatures. Trekking gear and comfortable footwear.
