Gaiman

In Patagonia, visit one of the largest Welsh native and descendant communities outside the UK.

In 1865, after crossing the ocean and arriving in Argentina in search of a new life, a group of Welsh people founded Gaiman on the banks of the Chubut River. Through the years, the town has become a city that preserves the customs of its original culture. Come and walk its streets, watch its houses covered with ivy, and awaken your senses to the typical gardens filled with roses and violets.
