How to get there: By plane, to Juan Domingo Perón International Airport, in the city of Neuquén. By bus, via Ruta Nacional 5 and Ruta Nacional 152 (1,140 km from Buenos Aires).

Altitude: 2000 and 3000 meters above sea level (average altitude), 4,707 meters above sea level (highest altitude)

Climate: High mountain weather, cold and dry. Very low temperatures and abundant rainfall.

Recommended length of stay: 3 to 6 days.

Recommended clothing and gear: Technical gear, warm clothing suitable for extreme temperatures, sunscreen.
