Urban art in Buenos Aires

Through graffiti and mural paintings, discover one of the major urban art trends in Latin America.

In Buenos Aires, art surprises you every step you take. On building facades, walls and even old train wagons, discover mural paintings that will capture everybody’s attention and graffiti that will set you thinking. In the 80s, these art expressions were considered an act of vandalism and protest. In the 90s, though, local and international artists formed an innovative urban art movement. An explosion of shapes and colors. A city where walls tell stories.
