The Route of the Solar Train of the Quebrada
The train, with a capacity for 140 people, departs from the Volcán station. The second stop is Tumbaya. Then, in a small deviation from the Quebrada, it enters the famous town of Purmamarca. There, travelers can enjoy its charming streets and the iconic Cerro de los Siete Colores. Finally, the train concludes after 35 kilometers in Maimará (here we recommend tasting some of its exquisite wines). The complete journey, without disembarking from the train, takes approximately an hour and a half. However, it is recommended to make stops at each station to enjoy the charms of the towns of the Quebrada de Humahuaca.

Currently, the normal fare for foreigners is USD 37, the promotional fare for residents of Jujuy is $15,000 pesos, for Argentine children under 12 years old is $25,000 pesos, for residents in Argentina is $33,000 pesos, and for retirees who present their ID is $20,000 pesos. Depending on the route you wish to take, prices may vary.
