About the Province
The province of Formosa is located in the northeast of Argentina. The first Spanish navigators named the province “Vuelta Fermosa”, which means “beautiful turn”.

Bañado la Estrella, One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the Country
This is the third-largest natural wetland in South America, and the second-largest in Argentina. A perfect place for people who need a getaway from the city to contemplate nature. There are different accesses to El Bañado: Las Lomitas, La Soledad, and Laguna Yema.
