Jujuy presents a subtropical climate with a dry season, and an annual average temperature of 18 °C and 32 °C maximum in summer. There is low rainfall in winter and abundant in summer, especially in the southeast of the territory.

San Salvador de Jujuy, the capital of the province, is the most classic point from where tours begin. Enjoying a day in the city is more than enough to get to know its old town, the General Belgrano square, the town council, and the different churches.

The second day can be dedicated to the colourful towns: Purmamarca, Tilcara, Caspalá, Humahuaca, and Maimará. Endless handicrafts, coloured hills, archaeological sites, and colonial architecture will welcome those who venture into these lands.

On the third day, white takes centre stage in Salinas Grandes, an albino blanket with water pools that reflect the clouds in the sky.
